The Prince Consort Judgement

The two lions easily knock two lionesses unconscious, leaving two huddled together. One of the males started to engorge himself in the antelope the lionesses killed. While the other male watches the females so they don‘t escape, He had his eyes lock on Dotty and smiled wickedly.

“Say brother? When we’re done feasting, how about we take vision of loveliness back with us?” the male walked up toward Dotty and cup her face in his paw making her look at his older brother.

The brother look up from the carcass swallowing a chunk of meat. “Oh yeah, she looks very fun to play with.” he said and started laughing, making his brother laugh too.

Dotty saw her chance and claw the male right in the face, he roared in pain and back pawed Dotty to the ground. This gave the other lioness a opening to run for help, leaving Dotty and the unconscious pride members behind.

The older brother left his meal to check on him and saw blood coming out of three deep gashes from under his eye going down his muzzle.

The older brother snarled and with rage in his eyes walk towards Dotty, suddenly a cub ran out of the tall grass and stand in front Dotty hissing at the rogue lion. Dotty eyes widen in horror, “Nuka.” she whispered.

The lion just laugh at the cub and raised his paw to swipe at him, with a loud roar Kuma tackled the lion knocking the air out of him sending him to the ground. Nyota pounce the injured brother on his back and hold him there, she snarled and show him her teeth.

Kuma went to check on Dotty, when she saw the strange lion coming the mother quickly pulled Nuka behind her.

“Are you two okay?” Kuma asked kindly, before the lioness could answered the older brother attack Kuma. The lions tumble around in the dirt growling, and clawing each other.

The rogue lion manage to pin Kuma under him, then he try to rip out Kuma’s throat, Nyota blindsided the older lion off Kuma and into the tall grass, there was a loud painful roar and then everyone heard the sickening sound of flesh tearing, Kuma quickly got up and hurry to get to Nyota but the injured brother attacked him from behind. Luckily for Kuma this brother is much lighter.

Kuma quickly rolled getting the lion off his back and then pinned him down, there was rustling in the tall grass Kuma look up and saw Nyota walk out, unhurt. The look on her face told Kuma that the older lion is dead.

“You demon! I swear I’ll make you pay!” the brother roared at Nyota and thrashed to get out of Kuma’s hold. Kuma snarled at the rogue.

“Listen! I suggest you leave and never come back, unless you would like to join him!” Kuma got off him, the lion got up and stared hatefully at Nyota.

“Go!” Kuma growled. The rogue turn towards the boarder and began running, Kuma watches as he disappeared over a hill.

Nyota went to one of the unconscious lioness and Kuma check the other. “She alive.” Nyota said. “This one too.” Kuma reply, then he look at Dotty and Nuka.

“How about you two?” Kuma asked. “We’re fine, thank you.” Dotty answered.

Dotty didn’t feel threaten by the strangers, she got up and walk towards them with Nuka following behind her. But before anyone had the chance to said anything else, Kovu and three lionesses appeared, the prince consort roared at the two wanderers.

“State you business in these lands, rogues.” Kovu demanded.

“I don’t like your tone buddy.” Kuma said sternly, glairing at Kovu. Nyota quickly move in front Kuma and shook her head at him.

“Kovu, these two are not the rogues, they save Nuka and me.” Dotty said, Kovu stare at her confused.

“Nuka?” Kovu look down and found Nuka hiding between his mother paws.

Dotty explain to her pride what has happen and pointed to the dead lion in the tall grass, the now informed Kovu look at the wanderers.

“I’m sorry for the mistake, thank you for saving them.” Kovu apologized, then he had an idea. “I would like to invite you to our home where you can meet the king, I’m sure he’ll reward you.”

“Let us think about it.” Nyota reply, Kovu agreed, the black lioness and Kuma took a couple step back to talk.

After a few minutes, Nyota and Kuma came back with their answer. “We would like to come.” Nyota said.

“Good, this lioness and her mate are now our guests, and shall be treated with respect.” Kovu told his pride, then he when back to Nyota and Kuma “My name is Kovu.”

“I‘m Nyota.” she said nicely

“Kuma.” he said gruffly

“And we are not mates, Kuma is my little brother.” Nyota clarify, then she smiled “And ladies, he’s single.” some of lionesses stare at him and smiled, the sudden female attention made Kuma blush.

Kovu ordered two of the lionesses to carry the unconscious ones, Dotty carry Nuka by the scruff, the prince consort leads the way with his pride and the wanderers following behind him.
